DofE Glasgow Store

In Glasgow we are priviledged to have acces to an Equipment Store for Expeditions. This ensures that young people and leader have access to equipment of the level required to undertake an expedition. It also ensures the removal of the barriers around equipment provision for those where this would stop there expedition taking place.

This equipment is available for any DofE Glasgow Centre to hire at £0.40 an item. These monies are used to replace equipment once it has reached the end of its use. It does not cover the cost of staffing or staffing time for store runnings. This is covered by Education Services DofE Glasgow Team. Any equipment which is damaged or returned not fit for purpose will be charged back to the centre that hired it.
